Metoden isAlphabetic(intcodePoint) i Character-klassen bestemmer, om det angivne tegn er et alfabet eller ej.
Et tegn anses for at være et alfabet, hvis det har følgende egenskaber:
- STORT BOGSTAV
- LILLE BOGSTAV
- TITLECASE_LETTER
- MODIFIER_BREV
- OTHER_BREV
- LETTER_NUMBER eller
- Andre alfabeter defineret af Unicode-standarden.
