Metoden isAlphabetic(intcodePoint) i Character-klassen bestemmer, om det angivne tegn er et alfabet eller ej.

Et tegn anses for at være et alfabet, hvis det har følgende egenskaber:

• STORT BOGSTAV
• LILLE BOGSTAV
• TITLECASE_LETTER
• MODIFIER_BREV
• OTHER_BREV
• LETTER_NUMBER eller
• Andre alfabeter defineret af Unicode-standarden.

kodepunkt : Det er karakteren, der skal testes.

Returværdi

Metoden isAlphabetic(intcodePoint) returnerer sand, hvis tegnet er et Unicode-alfabettegn. Ellers returnerer denne metode den falske.
