Java Character compare() Metode

Compare(char x, char y)-metoden i Character-klassen bruges til at sammenligne to char-værdier numerisk. Den endelige returnerede værdi svarer til, hvad der ville blive returneret af:

middel vs gennemsnit
 Character.valueoOf(x).compareTo(Character.valueOf(y))

Syntaks

 public static intcompare(char x, char y)

Parameter

Ovenstående metode kræver to parametre:

  • char x, som er det første tegn, der sammenlignes
  • char y som er det andet tegn at sammenligne

Returværdi

Compare(char x, char y) metoden for karakterklassen returnerer

er tom java
  • en værdi 0 hvis x==y
  • en værdi mindre end 0 hvis x
  • en værdi større end 0 hvis x>y.

Eksempel 1

 public class JavaCharacterCompareExample1 { public static void main(String[] args) { char firstValue = 'A'; char secondValue = 'B'; // compare the first char to the second int compareOneTwo = Character.compare(firstValue, secondValue); if (compareOneTwo> 0) { System.out.println('First value is greater than second value'); } else { System.err.println('First value is less than second value.'); } } }
Test det nu

Produktion:

 First value is less than the second value.

Produktion:

 First and second values are equal. First value is less than the third value.
