Det java.lang.math.max() funktion er en indbygget funktion i Java, som returnerer maksimalt to tal. Argumenterne tages i int, double, float og long. Hvis et negativt og et positivt tal sendes som argument, genereres det positive resultat. Og hvis begge passerede parametre er negative, genereres tallet med den lavere størrelse som resultat.
